Ankle Sleeves

Pretty much all of us, at one point or another, have rolled or sprained our ankle. Swelling around the joint, stiffness or soreness or just a twinge when moving can leave you taking baby steps to avoid hurting yourself again. Using an ankle sleeve is one way to help treat the issue and recover the joint more quickly.

With a wide range of ankle sleeves for virtually any injury or issue, Bauerfeind combine medical-grade compression with anatomic strapping and viscoelastic support to give you the best ankle sleeve for your injury.

Find answers to the most common questions.

What's the difference between a sleeve and a brace?

While there's no hard and fast rule around what makes one over the other, a sleeve usually refers to a fabric compressive support that sits around your ankle, often with a gel support and possibly some strapping. Braces can include these as well as more rigid supports that stabilise the joint itself.

Can I still play sports in these?

Virtually all of our supports are designed for active use, whether it's on the sports field, in the gym, or just for a run around the block.

What makes these products better than others?

Simply put, Bauerfeind have set the global standard for medical braces, compression and insoles. Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
