Active Shoulder Braces
Who doesn't love to get active now and then. Playing some backyard cricket with family, pushing hard in your local weekly comps for footy or just working out at the gym to keep up your fitness. If you've hurt your shoulder in the past, or you're nursing a current injury, it's understandable to be recalcitrant and back away from physical activity. But wearing an active shoulder brace can help to protect your joint, making sure you can get moving without worry of hurting your shoulder.
Find answers to the most common questions.

How active can I actually get with a shoulder brace?

One of the many great things about Bauerfeind's shoulder supports is how much they engage with you in any activity. You can go swimming, rock climbing, play a full game of rugby or even wrestle with them. While the supports allow you to be as active as you'd like, it's important to know your injury and your body to ensure you're not risking yourself too much. Supports help but it's not 100% protection from everything!

Can I still play sports in these?

Virtually all of our supports are designed for active use, whether it's on the sports field, in the gym, or just for a run around the block.

What makes these products better than others?

Simply put, Bauerfeind have set the global standard for medical braces, compression and insoles. Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
