Shoulder Bursitis Brace

Bursitis in the shoulder can be painful and overwhelmingly frustrating at the best of times. When the bursae (fluid filled sacs that cushion your joints) become inflamed, it causes pain and aching with almost every movement. While physiotherapy and pain medication can help to manage it, wearing a shoulder bursitis brace is one of the best ways to make sure the pain is alleviated, the inflammation is minimised and the joint can move without problems.

Bauerfeind have taken decades of anatomical and clinical research to ensure that each and every one of our braces relives shoulder bursitis to give you the relief you need.

Find answers to the most common questions.

Will these stop the pain?

Bursitis is primarily inflammation, meaning the bursae and surrounding tissue are all inflamed, swollen and tender. The gel support in our shoulder braces massage and soothe the muscle, relieving this inflammation, while the brace itself supports the shoulder, taking pressure off the joint so the root cause is alleviated.

What makes these products better than others?

Simply put, Bauerfeind have set the global standard for medical braces, compression and insoles. Using the highest quality materials to construct decades-refined products that have been clinically proven to address a vast range of issues. There's no substitute for quality, and Bauerfeind have that from the simplest strap to the largest brace.

How long do they last?

Bauerfeind's high quality construction and design mean that all of our products go the distance, especially when cared for properly. Below is a rough outline of how long products last before they start to lose their effectiveness over time.

Compression Stockings - 6 to 9 months of daily wear

Braces & supports - 1 to two years of daily wear

Insoles - 9 to 12 months of daily wear

It's important to note that this is a rough guideline, and each person's usage and general care can change the longevity of the product either way

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
