Shoulder Sleeve

Muscle pain in the bicep, sore shoulders from bursitis or the occasional arthritic pain. All of these can have you groaning in discomfort every time you move your arm. Wearing a shoulder sleeve can help not only to relieve that pain, but aid in addressing the root cause of the issue.

Bauerfeind incorporate medical-grade compression with targeted gel support in their range of shoulder sleeves to give you the best support you can get.

Find answers to the most common questions.

Will these prevent dislocation?

Shoulder dislocation is understandably a concern for many people, particularly those who play contact sports. While it's not a 100% guarantee (the only way to do that is to stay at home in bed), it's the best protection you can get while still moving the arm and getting physical in sports.

Why do I need a sleeve for the shoulder?

While the shoulder bone sits up next to your neck, the muscles in your upper arm form a big part of the joint. By applying medical grade compression and targeted massage with the gel pad to the upper arm around the deltoid, bicep and other muscles, stress is taken off the core joint and injured areas.

Should I sleep in these?

As a general rule of thumb, it's best not to have supports on at night as your body isn't under stress while you sleep, and it's good to allow the body to rest. However, an exception would be for those who have hypermobile joints that dislocate or subluxate in the middle of the night.

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
